What would you think of a server that had a limited playtime per week?
I would like it if it was around 10 hours 16%  16%  [ 3 ]
I would like it if it was around 5 hours 5%  5%  [ 1 ]
I think it shouldn't count wartime 16%  16%  [ 3 ]

Meaning, you can only play for 10 hours (or so) each week, after that you get kicked for the rest of the week.
The reason being that people who can't/don't want to play much but still would like to compete to win have no place in civcraft.
It would be a true test of strategy, rather than how dedicated people are.

Definity shouldn't count war-time, and I'd say 25 hours in a reasonable limit.

If you are serious about competing but don't want to play much... Join larger groups of people.

You can't be serious about competing if you don't want to spend at least 10 hours a week..

You are building a civilization which takes time and patience,
You aren't building a fast food place which doesn't :p

Wow...I knew this game was play 24/7 to win, but I didn't know people enjoy that
Anyhow, 25 hours a week is 4 hours a day, which wouldn't really be new mode.
Also, at the last commented guy, it doesn't take much time in civilizations...
Anybody heard of Travian? Now that is what every game should avoid. 1% strategy, 99% logging on every hour of your life.

Dude this game is addicting. With making armor ( but now you can just kill mobs ) digging trenches, raising structures, farming, mining. deciding which tech you should do, if you should go for a wonder or not. If you should get into a war this week, or next week. This game takes alot of planning and thinking... It's not really something you could just play for around 10 minutes a day like other game modes.

I agree, a limit seems to just turn away those hardcores. If you're looking for everyone to be limited to balance things out... they just made casual mode so you don't HAVE to be hardcore or worry about those things. I'm quite surprised no one mentioned that a purpose of casual mode was for people to not have to worry about falling behind...

Goobt, if this is your biggest concern on falling behind, I'd recommend casual mode. We'll have to see how willing people are to war, but it's not meant for hardcores to conquer every casual player.

10 minutes? That's 2 hours a day. Everyday. Personally, that's all I do for gaming at all!
